The site of the Campus is situated in Boir Gron Kala of
Gariaband Tehsil, District Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The surrounding
of the campus is of good geographical place having pleasing
meteorological weather condition and beautiful Tourist Spots.
The campus is surrounded by Two beautiful mountains on the one
side and Two Tanks with an old Bargad Tree (Banyan Tree) on the
other side. The Banyan Tree is more than 75 years old and has a
land mark for the University campus. The sub-humid Climate of
the area remain pleasant through out the Year. The annual
average temperature is max. 32.8 and min. 21.1 degree Celsius.
The hottest month is June, when the average temperature can
reach 42 degree Celsius and December is the month when the
average temperature touches 27.3 max. – 13.2 min. degree
Celsius. The average rainfall is 1200-1400 m. giving average 62
rainy days in between June 15 to Sept. 15. The Campus site is
having historical importance and located 25 Kms. from Nagri -
Sihawa Hilly areas which is the origin point of Holly River
Mahanadi.
