Located between the protected forests of Denkanikottai and Udedurgam near Hosur, the Bevanatham Nanjundeswarar Temple stands atop a striking 700-foot rock hill. The temple, built between natural rock formations, requires a challenging climb involving steep rock surfaces and iron handrails. Only 31 carved steps exist at the base, with local legends explaining why further steps were never built.
A remarkable humanitarian medical initiative has been serving tribal and hill communities near Bettamugilalam in the Hosur region for decades. Led by Dr. Jayachandran, former Dean of Chengalpattu Medical College, a team of specialist doctors travels to Kamagiri village to provide advanced medical care free of cost.
