Balakrishna, who is now the Chairman for Hosur municipality, is all set to contest assembly election as candidate of ADMK.
Presently, the constituency is represented by Gopinath, who is serving as MLA for three consecutive terms. Gopinath belongs to Thangabalu ani in Congress which is against the present state president EVKS Elangovan.
It is being gossiped that, EVKS may opt to give away the Hosur seat to DMK as Gopi is in opposite team. There were also gossips that goes around, that details that, Gopi was willing to move out of Hosur, as there is a strong anti incumbency factor against him and try to contest from Vepanapalli.
But, that idea has also come to a full stop, as KP Munuswamy is contesting from Vepanapalli in ADMK. KP Munuswamy belongs to Vanniar community and is a veteran in election politics.
If DMK is given a chance to contest Hosur constituency, then ex-chairman of Hosur municipality, Sathya, who is very close with DMK’s maavatta cheyalaalar Thally Prakash, will be given a ticket, it is gossiped.
Though, Yuvaraj and Madeshwaran of DMK are trying their best to snatch the ticket to contest, wind seems to be blowing in favour of Sathya.
