Foresters Rehmathullah and Ramesh, who were attacked by a wild bear, when they recued it from a well and tried to let it off in the forest area, will be given the best available medical treatment.
Rahmathullah was injured when he tried to save public from bear attacked. While doing so, he was attacked by the bear and was injured on his head.
Ramesh, who saved Rahmathullah was chased by the bear, and while running for safe, he jumped into the same well from which the bear was recued and was injured in his belly area.
Yesterday district collector met the injured foresters in Krishnagiri government hospital.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Jayalalitha has ordered the district administration to give best available medical treatment to both the foresters injured.
In her order, she has asked the district administration to shift both the foresters to any sophisticated private hospital in Chennai and give the best treatment for them.
She has also announced Rs 1 lac each to the foresters appreciating their bravery and also their dedication in saving the animal and public.
