Ami Jackson, a well known Peta supporter and who singed recently opposing Jallikattu is now busy acting in Shankar directed, Rajini starrer Enthiran II.
Ami Jackson tweeted during 2015: #NoJallikattu : Actors, cricketers sign @PetaIndia’s plea against bullfights. Please show your support too!
Now she is keeping quite all because of her role in Enthiran II. It is said that, she is silently sponsoring money to PETA in support for opposing Jallikattu. This rumour has validity because, she has not spoken any word in support for the Eru Thazuval vilaiyaattu.
Recently she spoke with reporters and cleverly avoided any question related to Jallikattu.
“I came into modelling at the age of 15 years. I have participated in several beauty competitions and have won at most of the times. It was during that time, director Vijay identified me and gave an opportunity to do the lead in Madarasapattinam.” Ami Jackson detailed her entry into Kollywood.
About her Tamil, she said “During initial days, I was in great trouble as I was not knowing Tamil. While my friends were enjoying their days in London by partying, I was here in Chennai learning Tamil language. I know Tamil now”
She thanked Tamil movie goers for accepting her, though she is from London.
Speaking about Enthiran II, she said that, she learned stunt to act in the movie. She says that she is keeping her body trim and maintaining her beauty by doing yoga and meditation daily without fail.
