Across Tamil Nadu, either politicians or college students who are no way affected by NEET or never going to attend NEET, were found organising public meetings and conducting agitations against NEET.
To be noted is, +2 students, who will be writing NEET during next June were not bothering about these on going agitations and were concentrating on their studies.
A Government model school is located in Podichipalli road near Kelamangkalam. For the first time, +2 students doing their school in this school have come out from their classed and blocked the road of Kelamgkalam – Uththanapalli.
About 50 students from the school participated in the agitation. Its not clear, how many of them have Biology as one of the subject in +2. For another surprise, students from nearby polytechnic came out for support of these pupil.
The students shouted slogans demanding to give Tamil Nadu students waiver from NEET. They also demanded justice for the death of Anita.
On receiving news about the road blockade, Kelamangkalam kaaval inspector rushed to the spot along with his team and held negotiation with the students. On his request, students dispersed from the road after blocking the road for about half an hour.
