Hosur town is filled up with advertisements that a conference of the Tamil Nadu Vishwa Hindu Parishad would be held in Hosur on Sunday – 25th Jan 2015, which shows the leader as Gopal (one of the family member of Dinamalar).
According to the State president of the VHP, the event had no connection to them!!!.
In a statement in Chennai, R Meyappan, VHP State president, said while programmes held in the service of Hindu society were welcome, a few persons including Vedantham, RR Gopal and RS Narayanasamy were misusing the organisation’s name in a manner undermining its reputation.
“The press statements of these persons and their other actions will not be binding on VHP in any manner,” Meyappan said in the statement. As part of the year-long Krishna Janmashtami celebrations, a district level conference is scheduled in Hosur on February 7, in which many senior Vishwa Hindu Parishad leaders, including international working president Praveen Togadia are expected to take part.
“This is the only official conference of VHP in Hosur,” Meyappan added.
