Sukhasana refers to relief or comfort. Though this exercise appears to be simple it serves as an entry to all the advanced yogic exercises. In this exercise one can start to develop concentration, equilibrium and enlightenment of mind.
Note: Those who find it difficult to perform Padmasana, Vajrasana etc. Can start with Sukhasana.
1. Sit comfortably cross-legged as shown in the posture 28.0. The head and body should be straight and firm.
2. Close the eyes and start meditation.

2. This exercise gives relief from pains in the region of knees, thighs and other joints pain.
