The Sports Development Authority of India and the Kho Kho Sports Federation of India have jointly organized the 2023 South Zone Women s Kho Kho Games for the first time at the St. John Bosco Girls Higher Secondary School Ground in Hosur.

The upcoming 6th, 7th and 8th Kho Kho Games will be held in 14-year-old sub-junior and 18-year-old junior categories. More than 250 athletes, coaches, managers and umpires from 6 states of South India namely Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka are expected to participate in these competitions.

Speaking to the media, Rev Sr Angela, president of Krishnagiri North Kho Kho Sports Club, said that such competitions are held to bring out and improve the sports skills of the students, to create good relations between the states and to develop the personality of the students.
