ஓசூரில் பரவும் Boy Bestie கலாச்சாரம்! என்ன அது Boy Bestie? ஆங்கிலத்தில் இதற்கான பொருள், உடன்பிறந்தோருக்கு இணையான நட்பு. ஆனால் நம்ம ஓசூரில், இந்தச் சொல்லாடலை கொச்சைப்படுத்தி, நண்பருக்கு மேலே, புருஷனுக்கு கீழே என்று வைத்துள்ளனர்!

கடந்த நாள் மனநல ஆலோசனை வழங்கும் ஓசூர் மருத்துவர் ஒருவரிடம் வந்த, 30 வயதை கடந்த ஐந்து பெண்கள், தங்களுடன் வந்த இரண்டு பெண்களுக்கு Boy Bestie இருப்பதாகவும், ஏற்கனவே ஆண்களால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு குழந்தைகளுடன் தனியாக வாழும் சூழலில், மீண்டும் பாதிப்படைய வேண்டாம் என்கிற நோக்கில், அத்தகைய உறவுகளில் இருந்து விடுபட மனநல ஆலோசனை வழங்கும் படி வேண்டினர்.

இதற்கிடையே, பள்ளி ஒன்றில் ஏழாம் வகுப்பு படித்து வரும் 13 வயதுடைய தனது மகளுக்கு T C கொடுத்து பள்ளியில் இருந்து அனுப்பி விட்டனர் என்று தாய் ஒருவர் புலம்பினார். என்னவென்று வினவியதில், அந்தச் சிறுமி இரண்டு முறை காதலனுடன் ஓடி விட்டாராம்.

இது எல்லாம் ஒரு புறம் இருக்க, ஓசூர் பூங்காக்கள் மற்றும் மலைகளின் ஒதுக்குப் புறங்களில் முகம் சுளிக்க வைக்கும் செயல்களை வெட்டவெளிச்சத்தில் எவ்வித கூச்சமின்றி சில ஜோடிகள் மேற்கொண்டு வருவதை நம்மில் பலர் கண்டிருப்போம்.

இந்த கேடுகெட்ட பண்பாட்டால் உடல் ரீதியாகவும், மனரீதியாகவும் கடுமையாக பின்விளைவுகளை சந்திக்கப் போவது பெண்கள் தான். பொதுவெளியில் நடைபெற்று வரும் முகம் சுளிக்க வைக்கும் செயல்களை தடுக்கும் நடவடிக்கைகளில் தன்னார்வ அமைப்புகளும், காவல்துறையினரும் மேற்கொண்டால், புரட்சி போர்வை போர்த்திக் கொண்டு சிலர் தடுக்கின்றனர்.
