Residents of Natrampalayam near Anchetty staged a road blockade protest demanding improved medical facilities and urgent repair of badly damaged roads in the area. The protest resulted in traffic disruption for over four hours on the Anchetty–Hogenakkal road.

Following the protest, officials from the police, revenue, and forest departments arrived at the spot and held discussions with the residents. Locals say a permanent solution is needed to address long-standing infrastructure and healthcare concerns.
