The chariot festival at the Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Gopasandram, near Hosur, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion.

Often referred to as “South Tirupati,” the temple witnessed a large turnout of devotees.

The decorated chariot, weighing around 100 tons and standing 60 feet tall, was taken through the temple streets.

Devotees gathered in large numbers and chanted “Govinda… Govinda…” during the procession, creating a vibrant spiritual atmosphere.

தென்திருப்பதி என்று அழைக்கப்படும் ஓசூர் அடுத்த கோபசந்தரத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள வெங்கடேஸ்வர சுவாமி கோவில் தேர் திருவிழா இன்று மிகச் சிறப்பாக கொண்டாடப்பட்டது.

நூறு டன் எடை மற்றும் 60 அடி உயரம் கொண்ட தேர், அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்டு மாட வீதிகளில் அசைந்தாடி வலம் வந்தது. கூடியிருந்த ஏராளமான மக்கள் "கோவிந்தா"... "கோவிந்தா"... என முழக்கங்கள் எழுப்பினர்.
