A new commercial complex constructed at a cost of approximately ₹20 crore has been inaugurated near the Hosur Bus Stand.

The building, spread across around 90,000 square feet, has been constructed by the Local Administration Department after demolishing the old municipal office building that previously existed at the location.

The facility was inaugurated by the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister through video conference. The event was attended by the Hosur Member of Parliament, Member of Legislative Assembly, Mayor, Corporation Commissioner and other officials.

Volunteers and some residents have suggested that instead of renting out the building as individual shops, the Hosur Corporation could explore the possibility of developing it as a multi-purpose commercial mall similar to those seen in major cities.

ஓசூர் நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர், சட்டமன்ற உறுப்பினர், மாநகராட்சி மேயர், மாநகராட்சி ஆணையர், மற்றும் ஓசூர் நகரின் பெரியோர்கள் முன்னிலையில் ரிப்பன் வெட்டி, குத்து விளக்கு ஏற்றி கட்டிடத்தை திறந்து வைத்தார்.

தனிநபர்களுக்கு கட்டிடத்தை தனித்தனியாக வாடகைக்கு விடுவதற்கு பதிலாக, ஓசூர் மாநகராட்சி, பிற பெரு நகரங்களில் உள்ளதை போன்று "Mall" என்கிற பன்முக வணிக வளாகமாக இக்கட்டிடம் செயல்படும் வகையில், அது குறித்து நன்கறிந்த தனியார் நிறுவனங்களுடன் கலந்து பேசி, ஒப்பந்தம் மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டும், என தன்னார்வலர்களும், ஓசூர் பொதுமக்களும் ஓசூர் ஆன்லைன் வாயிலாக ஓசூர் மாநகராட்சிக்கு கோரிக்கை வைக்கின்றனர்.
