வ. உ. சி. நகர் அருகே, குப்பை போட்டால் ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் தண்டத்தொகை விதிக்கப்படும் என மாநகராட்சி சார்பில் அறிவிப்பு பலகை வைத்துள்ளனர். ஆனால் அந்த அறிவிப்பு பலகையையே குப்பை தொட்டி என கருதி குப்பையை போடுகிறார்கள். மாநகராட்சி, இத்தகைய விதி மீறுபவர்களை கடுமையாக தண்டிக்க தன்னார்வலர்கள் கோரிக்கை வைக்கின்றனர். குப்பைகளை போட்டு, தெரு நாய்களுக்கு அசைவம் உள்ளிட்ட உணவுகளை வழங்கி விட்டு, அவை கடிக்கின்றன என்றால் இது யார் மீது குற்றம்?. குப்பையை கண்ட இடங்களில் வீசுவதால், குடியிருப்பு பகுதிகளில் நோய் பரவுகிறது. நோய்கள் பரவுவதற்கு நாமே அடிப்படையான எல்லா வேலைகளையும் செய்து விட்டு புலம்பினால், மாநகராட்சியால் என்ன செய்ய இயலும்? மாநகராட்சி அறிவிக்கும் சட்ட திட்டங்களை பின்பற்ற வேண்டும் மக்களே!.
