தேன்கனிக்கோட்டை அருகே தனியார் பள்ளிக்குள் வந்த குட்டியானையை, சிலர் குச்சியால் அடித்து விரட்டிய காட்சி, காண்போரை மனவேதனையடைய வைத்தது. பயத்தில் கண்ணீர் விட்டபடி ஓடும் அந்த குட்டியானையைப் பார்த்து பலர் கண்ணீர் விட்டனர்.

வனத்துறையினர் உடனடி நடவடிக்கை எடுத்து, குட்டியானையை அதன் கூட்டத்துடன் பாதுகாப்பாக சேர்த்திருக்க வேண்டும். அவர்கள் தங்கள் கடமையை முறையாக ஆற்றாததால், குட்டியானைக்கு இந்த கொடுமை நேர்ந்துள்ளது.
