Vaikunta Ekadasi was celebrated in a grand manner at the Bettarayaswamy Temple in Denkanikottai, near Hosur, with the Sorga Vasal opening ceremony held in the early hours of the day.

To accommodate devotees, temple authorities arranged the preparation and free distribution of 50,000 laddus. The laddus were prepared in advance, ahead of the Sorga Vasal opening scheduled at around 4:00 AM, ensuring smooth distribution to visiting devotees.

ஓசூர் அருகே தேன்கனிக்கோட்டையில் 50 ஆயிரம் லட்டுகள். வைகுண்ட ஏகாதசியை முன்னிட்டு, தேன்கனிக்கோட்டை பேட்டராய சாமி கோவிலில், சொர்க்கவாசல் திறப்பு நிகழ்ச்சி சிறப்பாக நடைபெற்றது. காலை நான்கு மணி அளவில் சொர்க்கவாசல் திறக்க இருந்த நிலையில், அதற்கு முந்தைய நாளே, கோவிலுக்கு வரும் நம்பிக்கையாளர்களுக்கு விலையில்லாமல் லட்டுக்களை வழங்கும் விதமாக 50 ஆயிரம் லட்டுகள் தரமாக ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தது.
