A protest was held in front of Hosur Railway Station by the Hosur Passenger Welfare Association, raising several demands related to passenger train services.

The protesters urged railway authorities to continue the Hubballi–Rameswaram special passenger train and opposed any proposal to reduce the number of coaches on the Bengaluru–Nagercoil train. The demonstration was conducted with slogans and public participation.

MP Gopinath, Hosur Municipal Corporation ward members, representatives of residents’ welfare associations, social activists, and multiple organisations participated in the protest.
