More than 15 musicians from Linganampatti area near Rayakottai in Krishnagiri district were traveling towards Hosur Sanasandram area in a cargo vehicle on the event day.

The goods vehicle overturned on the side of the road when the driver lost control while approaching Uthanapalli near Upparathammandarapalli.

More than 10 people were injured in the accident. Public nearby rescued the injured and sent them to Hosur Government Hospital.

They are being treated there. The Uthanapalli police have registered a case and are investigating the accident.
