Liquor bottles seized by the Hosur Prohibition Police were destroyed by digging pits in the Sanamavu forest area near Hosur and burying them.

In the presence of Prohibition Enforcement Division Inspector Pankajam, the Prohibition Police dug a pit and destroyed all the 4989 bottles of liquor confiscated by the police in the last 3 months, smuggled to Hosur area from the state of Karnataka.

Destroying of liquor bottles were carried as per the court order.
