Krishnakiri District SP Saroj Kumar received a tip-off that, in and around Hosur, brothel is being run by renting residential area houses with banners like spa and massage center.  He ordered Hosur area police to monitor such illegal activities.

On his order, Bagalur police kept a close watch on spa, beauty parlors and massage centers operating in Bagalur area.

Police conducted a surprise raid in one such center to find that, girls from other states are being used in the brothel network.

The police rescued the young girls and arrested two people namely Manjula (38), wife of Nanjappa from Naripuram near Berikai and Muniraj (45) from Vala near Malur, Karnataka, who engaged them in sex work.
