The Hosur Rotary Federation organised its 37th annual eye medical camp at RV Boys Higher Secondary School, continuing its long-standing commitment to community healthcare.

Organisers said the camp is held every year on the last Sunday of the year. Patients diagnosed with cataract are taken to Coimbatore for surgery at no cost, including treatment and travel, and are safely brought back to Hosur.

According to the organisers, more than 10,000 people have benefited from these eye medical camps over the years.

ஓசூர் ரோட்டரி கூட்டமைப்பு சார்பில் 37 வது ஆண்டு கண் மருத்துவ முகாம் ஆர் வி ஆண்கள் மேல்நிலைப்பள்ளியில் நடைபெற்றது. ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் ஆண்டின் கடைசி ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமையில் இத்தகைய மருத்துவ முகாம் நடத்துவதாகவும், கண்புரை பாதிப்பு உள்ளவர்களை, ஏழை பணக்காரர் என்ற வேறுபாடு இன்றி, கோயம்புத்தூருக்கு எவ்வித கட்டணமும், செலவு இல்லாமல் அழைத்துச் சென்று கண் புரை நீக்கு மருத்துவம் மேற்கொண்டு, மீண்டும் ஓசூர் அழைத்து வருவதாகவும், இதுவரை சுமார் பத்தாயிரத்திற்கும் மேற்பட்டோர் இந்த முகாம்கள் மூலம் பயனடைந்துள்ளதாக தெரிவித்தனர்.
