A woman who was found in a distressed mental condition near the SIPCOT Mariamman Temple in Hosur has been reunited with her family after receiving treatment for six months.

Police had rescued her after she was seen behaving erratically near the roadside and admitted her to a mental health care facility.

Following treatment, her identity was established, and her relatives from Assam were contacted.

She has now been safely handed over to her family after recovery.
