The traditional Eruthu Vidum Vizha season has begun in the Hosur region. Among the festivals conducted in and around Hosur, the Gobasandhiram Eruthu Vidum Vizha holds special significance.

The Perumal temple located atop Gobasandhiram hill is popularly known as Then Thirupathi. This year, the Athukkattu festival is scheduled to take place on January 16. Preparatory works at the Eruthu Vidum Vizha ground are currently progressing at full scale.

களைகட்ட துவங்கியது ஓசூர் சுற்றுவட்டாரத்தின் எருது விடும் விழாக்கள்!. ஓசூர் சுற்றுவட்டார பகுதியில் நடைபெறும் எருது விடும் விழாக்களில், கோபச்சந்திரம் எருது விடும் விழா தலை சிறந்ததாக விளங்குகிறது. கோபசந்திரம் மலையில் அமைந்துள்ள பெருமாள் கோவில், தென் திருப்பதி என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறது. இந்த ஆண்டு, ஜனவரி பதினாறாம் நாள், “அத்துக்கட்டு” என அழைக்கப்படும் கோபச்சந்திரம் எருது விடும் விழாவை நடத்த விழா குழுவினர் முடிவெடுத்துள்ளனர். எருது விடும் திடலில், முன்னேற்பாடுகள் முழு வீச்சில் நடைபெற்று வருகின்றன.
