A burglary has been reported in Muvendar Nagar on Bagalur Road in Hosur.

According to the complaint, the homeowner had locked the house and travelled to Salem to attend a relative’s wedding. When he returned, he found the wooden wardrobe inside the house broken and approximately 19 sovereigns of gold jewellery missing.

It is suspected that the burglars entered by breaking the lock of the rear door.

The victim has filed a complaint at the HUDCO Police Station, and police have registered a case and launched an investigation.

ஊரிலிருந்து திரும்பிய அவருக்கு, வீட்டின் மர வார்டு ரோப் உடைக்கப்பட்டு நகை திருடு போயிருந்தது அதிர்ச்சி ஏற்படுத்தியது.

பின்புறக் கதவின் பூட்டை உடைத்து திருடர்கள் உள்ளே வந்து சென்றிருப்பதை கண்டறிந்த அவர், உடனடியாக ஹட்கோ காவல் நிலையத்தில் புகார் அளித்தார். காவல் துறையினர் வழக்குப்பதிந்து வினவி வருகின்றனர்.
