Hosur is rapidly growing in almost in all terms, but government of Tamil Nadu and elected representatives of Hosur are just ignoring the basic need of Hosurians - the traffic issue.

Narrow roads, road encroachments (particularly near Hosur Bus Stand by flower vendors), poor traffic management, government sponsored road blockages and exploding population numbers are to be blamed for the present traffic congestion crisis.

District collector of Krishnagiri and Sub Collector of Hosur have proved their ignorance and inefficiency in planning and executing proper measures to manage the traffic crisis of Hosur.  Instead of solving road traffic problems, they create road blockages, there by adding more traffic congestion across Hosur!

Hosur has elected representatives, who remain mouni babas.  Hosur MLA is seen only in Municipality events like public toilet opening and other than that he is not available to learn or hear Hosurian problems.

Though, there are traffic signals installed in different road junctions, there is no one to monitor nor to operate those signals!

As of now, the most congested road junction is Thally road - Ring road junction.  Even there, there is only one traffic police deployed, while the junction requires atleast 4 personals.

An inquiry with police department revealed that, while there is an allotment of 27 positions for traffic police in Hosur, Hosur has only 16 police including one SI.  Though Hosur is a municipal corporation, till now, dont have a traffic police inspector position allocated.

Instead of appointing police personals in sufficient numbers, government is calling for traffic wardens - volunteers to control traffic.

Hosur public who elected Hosur MLA are requesting him to act swiftly and solve the traffic congestion issues (particularly of Thally road, opposite bus stand area and Bagalur road), by taking up the issue with proper departments of the State.  Will he atleast now learn, understand and do something on this?
