Tamil Nadu Police along with Central Armed Police Forces conducted a flag march in Hosur as part of security preparations ahead of the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.

Personnel carrying automatic weapons participated in the march, which began around 11 AM near the Puttaiya Petrol Bunk in Ram Nagar.

The march proceeded through MG Road and Netaji Road before concluding at the Corporation Ground in Kamarajar Colony.

Officials say the exercise was conducted to reassure the public and maintain law and order during the election period.

நடுவன் பாதுகாப்பு படையினர், தானியங்கி துப்பாக்கிகளை ஏந்தியவாறு, தமிழ்நாடு காவல்துறையினருடன் இணைந்து, காலை 11 மணியளவில், ராம் நகர் அருகே உள்ள புட்டையா பெட்ரோல் பம்ப் அருகே கொடி அணிவகுப்பை துவங்கி, எம் ஜி சாலை, நேதாஜி சாலை, வழியாக காமராஜர் காலனியில் அமைந்துள்ள மாநகராட்சி திடல் வரை மேற்கொண்டனர்.
