A herd of elephants was recently spotted drinking water at a lake near Manjumalai in the Hosur region.

With seasonal rains failing and dry conditions prevailing in parts of the surrounding forests, elephants and other wild animals are moving in search of water sources.

People travelling along the route witnessed the elephant herd at the lake, making for a memorable wildlife encounter near Hosur.
