Residents of Tirupathi Nagar and surrounding areas have raised concerns over digging work reportedly carried out around midnight near Alagiya Murugan Temple on Bagalur Road.

According to information conveyed to police, the work was reportedly undertaken citing instructions from the BDO side, with a proposal to create a 10-foot-high enclosure for growing plants.

Residents have questioned the need for such a high enclosure and requested that such work not be undertaken in their residential area.

More than 200 residents have reportedly submitted a petition to the Hosur Sub-Collector seeking intervention.

The purpose of the work and the official basis for it should be clarified by the concerned authorities.
