A herd of over 15 wild elephants, including calves, was spotted bathing in a water body near Anchetty, located between Denkanikottai and Anchetty forest regions.

With the rising summer heat, the elephants were seen gathering near a roadside water source inside the forest, offering a rare and refreshing wildlife sight.

The region is known to be a long-standing natural habitat for elephants.
