A protest announced at Attibele near the Hosur–Karnataka border reportedly failed to disrupt transport services. Around 30 people were expected to participate in the protest under the leadership of "Water Nagaraj", over issues including opposition to the proposed township project at Bidadi and concerns described as affecting Tamil interests. Meanwhile, private buses and Tamil Nadu government buses continued operating between Hosur and Bengaluru through Attibele as usual.
