Around 500 Saurashtra-speaking families living in Hosur came together to perform Dasal Pooja for Lord Venkatachalapathy of Tirupati. The community traditionally conducts the collective pooja every year on the first Saturday of the Tamil month of Purattasi.

ஓசூரில் சௌராஷ்டிரா மொழி பேசும் சுமார் 500 குடும்பத்தினர் வாழும் நிலையில், கடந்த சனிக்கிழமை திருப்பதி வெங்கடாசலபதி சுவாமிக்கு தசல் பூஜை செய்து சிறப்பித்தனர். ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் புரட்டாசி திங்கள் முதல் சனிக்கிழமையில் இவ்வாறு கூட்டு தசல் பூஜை நடத்துவது வழக்கமாம்.
