A remarkable humanitarian medical initiative has been serving tribal and hill communities near Bettamugilalam in the Hosur region for decades. Led by Dr. Jayachandran, former Dean of Chengalpattu Medical College, a team of specialist doctors travels to Kamagiri village to provide advanced medical care free of cost.

The annual Hosur Hill Temple Ther Festival commenced at approximately 6:20 AM from the Ther Nilayam in the historic Soodavadi locality, now known as Therpettai. The Vinayagar Ther was pulled first through the streets, followed by the Chandira Choodeswarar Ther. After reaching designated points, the Thayar Ther began its procession.
Thousands attended the traditional Manjuvirattu event near Denkanikottai, Hosur. Locals suggest enhanced crowd management measures for future festivals.
