The 78th birth anniversary of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa was commemorated in Hosur with various public welfare initiatives.

Supporters organised annadhanam and distributed gifts at decorated pandals set up across different parts of the town.

A floral-adorned portrait procession commenced from the Ram Nagar entrance and moved through key streets before concluding near the MGR statue at the Rayakottai Road–National Highway junction.

Supporters paid floral tributes and remembered her legacy during the event.

ஓசூரில் சிறப்பாக கொண்டாடப்பட்ட முன்னாள் முதல்வர், மக்களால் "அம்மா" என்று அன்புடன் அழைக்கப்பட்ட ஜெயலலிதா அவர்களின் 78வது பிறந்தநாள். ஓசூர் முழுவதும், ஆங்காங்கே அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்ட கூடாரங்கள் அமைத்து, பொதுமக்களுக்கு அன்னதானம் மற்றும் பரிசு பொருட்கள் வழங்கி, தொண்டர்கள் சிறப்பித்தனர்.

அம்மையாரின் திருவுருவப் படம், மலர்களால் ரதம் போன்று அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்டு, ராம் நகர் நுழைவாயில் துவங்கி, ராயக்கோட்டை சாலை - தேசிய நெடுஞ்சாலை சந்திப்பு அருகே அமைந்துள்ள எம் ஜி ஆர் சிலை வரை ஓசூரின் முதன்மையான தெருக்களின் வழியாக எடுத்துச் செல்லப்பட்டது.
