Members of Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) staged a road blockade in front of Raghavendra Theatre, Hosur, opposing the release of the Telugu film "Kingdom", which allegedly portrays Tamils in a derogatory light.

Earlier, Grand Cinemas had cancelled the screening, but the movie was later released at Raghavendra Theatre — triggering protests.
