A new road development project covering the 1.75 km stretch from Veppanapalli to Ariyanapalli has been launched to improve connectivity for the Hosur region.
Residents from Hosur, Shoolagiri, Athimugam and Berigai will benefit, especially devotees travelling to Tirupati and industrial workers commuting daily.

The project will also make it easier for farmers to bring millets, vegetables and other produce to Hosur markets.
The Minister for Food Supply, R. Sakkarapani, inaugurated the project on November 30 in the presence of District Collector Dinesh Kumar IAS and Hosur MLA Y. Prakash.
