Residents of the Bettamugilalam region continue to face difficulties accessing Marandahalli despite most of the connecting road already being in place.

According to local residents, an unfinished stretch of approximately 200 metres near the Krishnagiri–Dharmapuri district boundary remains a bottleneck, with administrative and approval-related issues reportedly delaying completion.

Officials indicated that the matter involves coordination between multiple departments, while residents hope the issue will be resolved at the district administration level.

பெட்டமுகிலாலம் பகுதி வாழ் மக்கள், தங்களது பெரும்பாலான தேவைகளுக்கு, மலையின் அடிவாரத்தில், 13 கிலோமீட்டர் தொலைவில் அமைந்துள்ள மாரண்டஹள்ளிக்கு, செங்குத்தான மலை பாதையை பயன்படுத்தி சென்று வருவது வழக்கம்.

இதில் சுமார் 7 கிலோமீட்டர் பாதை கிருஷ்ணகிரி மாவட்டத்தின் பகுதியிலும், மீதமுள்ள பகுதி தருமபுரி மாவட்டத்திலும் அமைந்துள்ளது.

பெரும்பாலான சாலை, முழுமையாக அமைக்கப்பட்டு இருந்தாலும், இரு மாவட்டங்கள் சந்திக்கும் பகுதியில், சுமார் 200 மீட்டர் அளவு மட்டும், வனத்துறையினரின் அனுமதி கிடைப்பதில் சிக்கல் நிலவுவதாக பொதுமக்கள் வேதனை தெரிவிக்கின்றனர். இதற்கான முயற்சி எடுக்க வேண்டிய பொறுப்பு தருமபுரி மாவட்டம், பாலக்கோடு வட்டார வளர்ச்சி அலுவலரிடம் உள்ளதாக தருமபுரி வனத்துறையினர், ஓசூர் ஆன்லைன் இடம் விளக்கிக் கூறினர்.

கிருஷ்ணகிரி மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர், தருமபுரி மாவட்ட ஆட்சியருக்கு வேண்டுகோள் விடுத்து, இதற்கு தீர்வு எட்டுவார் என மக்கள் நம்பிக்கையுடன் காத்திருக்கின்றனர்.
