A 22-year-old worker from Jharkhand reportedly died following an accident involving a robotic machine at Rajsriya Factory Unit 8 in Hosur.

Workers alleged that proper safety precautions, first aid and immediate emergency measures were not provided. The incident reportedly triggered anger and protests, during which property inside the factory premises was damaged.

SIPCOT police have assured that a case will be registered and appropriate action taken. Police personnel have been deployed near the factory gate.

உயிரிழப்பிற்கு பொறுப்பான தொழிற்சாலை மீது வழக்கு பதிந்து, நடவடிக்கை எடுப்பதாக சிப்காட் காவல் துறையினர் உறுதி அளித்ததை தொடர்ந்து வட மாநிலத்தவர்கள் கலைந்து சென்றார்களாம்.

ஏராளமான காவல் துறையினர் தொழிற்சாலை வாயிலில் பாதுகாப்பிற்காக நிலைநிறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.
