Transport officials inspected more than 200 omni buses travelling from various parts of Tamil Nadu towards Karnataka through Hosur at four different locations.

According to officials, over 20 buses allegedly operating in violation of regulations were identified, approximately ₹16 lakh in penalties were collected and two omni buses were seized. Passengers from some buses were reportedly asked to get down at different locations.

ஓசூர் வழியாக, தமிழகத்தின் பிற பகுதிகளில் இருந்து கர்நாடகா நோக்கிச் சென்ற 200க்கும் மேற்பட்ட ஆம்னி பேருந்துகளை வட்டார போக்குவரத்து அலுவலர் தலைமையில், நான்கு குழுக்களாக பிரிந்து, நான்கு வெவ்வேறு இடங்களில் பேருந்துகளை நிறுத்தி ஆய்வு செய்தனர்.

சட்டத்திற்கு புறம்பாக செயல்பட்ட சுமார் 20-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட பேருந்துகள் கண்டறியப்பட்டு, சுமார் 16 லட்சம் ரூபாய் தண்டத்தொகை வசூலிக்கப்பட்டதாகவும், இரண்டு ஆம்னி பேருந்துகள் பறிமுதல் செய்யப்பட்டதாகவும் அலுவலர்கள் தெரிவித்தனர்.

சில ஆம்னி பேருந்துகளில் இருந்து பயணிகள் ஆங்காங்கே இறக்கி விடப்பட்டனர்.
