Ahead of the annual Malai Kovil festival, the Hosur Mayor and Municipal Commissioner conducted a field inspection in the Therpettai area to review preparatory works. The Chandrachoodeshwarar Temple festival is celebrated every year with the participation of lakhs of devotees and is considered one of Hosur’s major religious events.

As part of this year’s preparations, officials inspected proposed works to shift overhead electricity lines underground along the chariot procession routes, aiming to ensure safety and smooth conduct of the festival.
