A Head Constable working at Thali Police Station near Hosur has reportedly become the victim of a burglary at his residence in Denkanikottai.

Udhayavanan had locked his house on the 13th after his family left town and stayed at Thali Police Station. When he returned on the morning of the 16th, he discovered that his house had been burgled and lodged a complaint at Denkanikottai Police Station.

Police investigation reportedly identified two Denkanikottai residents in connection with the burglary. Jewellery, cash and a gas cylinder were recovered, and both were arrested.

ஓசூர் அடுத்த தளி காவல் நிலையத்தில் தலைமை காவலராக பணிபுரிந்து வரும் உதயவாணன், தேன்கனிக்கோட்டையில் குடும்பத்துடன் வாழ்ந்து வருகிறார்.

கடந்த 13ஆம் நாள், குடும்பத்தினர் வெளியூர் சென்றதால், வீட்டை பூட்டி, சாவியை காலணிகள் வைக்கும் ஸ்டாண்டில் வைத்துவிட்டு, தளி காவல் நிலையத்திற்குச் சென்று அங்கேயே தங்கியுள்ளார்.

16ஆம் நாள் வீட்டை திறந்து பார்த்த அவர், அதிர்ச்சி அடைந்து, தேன்கனிக்கோட்டை காவல் நிலையத்தில் புகார் அளித்துள்ளார்.

இருவரையும் கைது செய்து திருடிய பொருட்களை பறிமுதல் செய்துள்ளனர்.
