An ancient Lakshmi Narasimha cave temple located on rocky hills near Denkanikottai, close to Hosur, has emerged as a significant historical and architectural mystery. Carved directly into natural rock, the temple features multiple mandapams, intricate stone pillars, rare sculptures, and a cave sanctum where Lakshmi Narasimha is enshrined inside the rock. Architectural clues such as a fish emblem, Gaja Lakshmi sculpture, and Narasimha depicted in nine forms suggest influences from Pandya, Pallava, or Hoysala dynasties. Though abandoned for centuries, the temple was restored around 2004 and now hosts daily worship. Experts believe archaeological excavation is essential to accurately date the temple, which is widely considered to be over 1,000 years old.

Hosur has added a planetarium along with a science park, creating a dedicated learning space for children and young learners. The facility brings together interactive science tools, practical demonstrations, and hands-on learning experiences in one location. At a time when many cities aspire to have such educational infrastructure, Hosur now has a science and learning park of its own.
