During a routine vehicle inspection at the Zuzuvadi Check Post near Hosur, SIPCOT Police detected a passenger travelling with 11 kg of sandalwood allegedly without the required Forest Department permission.

The passenger and the seized sandalwood were subsequently handed over to the Hosur Forest Department for further investigation and legal action.

வனத்துறை அனுமதியின்றி எடுத்துவரப்பட்ட 11 கிலோ சந்தன கட்டைகள் ஓசூர் சூசூவாடியில் பறிமுதல். ஓசூர் சிப்காட் காவல் துறையினர், சுசுவாடி சோதனை சாவடியில், வண்டிகளை தணிக்கை செய்து வந்தனர். அப்போது பெங்களூருவில் இருந்து ஓசூர் நோக்கி வந்த பேருந்து ஒன்றில், பயணி ஒருவர் சந்தன கட்டைகளுடன் பயணிப்பது கண்டறியப்பட்டது. அவரையும், அவர் கொண்டு வந்திருந்த சந்தன கட்டைகளையும், ஓசூர் வனத்துறையினரிடம் காவல்துறையினர் ஒப்படைத்தனர்.
